Diane Membreno

Diane Membreno was recovering from bunion surgery when a neighbor suggested ice for the swelling. When Diane removed her ice packs the following day, her foot was frostbitten. "I didn't feel it because of the numbing cream," she explains, "but when I saw the purple flesh, I knew something was wrong."
